Michael Catt has been the Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, since 1989. Because of the influence of men like Vance Havner, Ron Dunn, Manley Beasley and others, Michael has a heart for revival, awakening and the Spirit-filled life. He has given himself to equipping pastors who are hurting and need encouragement. Michael keeps a busy travel schedule, speaking in Bible Conferences and conventions around the country. In 2008, Michael served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention Pastors’ Conference. ReFRESH® was founded by Michael as a ministry to the church and to church leaders.

Ken Jenkins is a nationally known naturalist and natural history photographer. He is also a gifted Bible teacher who uses his talents to share God’s truth through his photographs. He is the co-author of Expert Lifemanship with Warren Wiersbe, released by CLC Publications. He has been a featured speaker at ReFRESH® since its inception.

Tom Elliff is the President of the International Mission Board. He has been a leader in his denomination for decades and is sought after by churches and conferences to bring a fresh word and a biblically-based challenge from the Scripture. His messages on revival, the Spirit-filled life and family resonate with people hungry to know more about the Christian life. As a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention, foreign missionary, and pastor for over forty years, Tom is a recognized leader and powerful preacher.

Ed Litton is the senior pastor of First Baptist North Mobile in Alabama. Ed served as the president of the Pastors’ Conference of the Southern Baptist Convention in 2009. He believes that God has called him to reach the lost, develop the saved and equip the church to fulfill its purpose in the world. Ed has spoken at both ReFRESH® in the Smokies and ReFRESH® in Albany for the past few years.

Daniel Simmons has been the Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, since 1991. Mount Zion is a predominantly African American church founded in 1864. Daniel is only the ninth pastor in the church’s history. Known for his unapologetic stand on the truths of Scripture and his dynamic leadership, Daniel preaches across the land in conferences and conventions. He was a featured speaker at the 2008 Southern Baptist Convention Pastors’ Conference in Indianapolis. Although he speaks every year at the conference in Albany, this will be Daniel’s first time preaching at ReFRESH® in the Smokies.
Mark Willard has been the Senior Associate Pastor of Worship at Sherwood Baptist Church since 2000. He has written a number of original worship songs, as well as the score for Sherwood Pictures’ films, Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. He was recently signed as a songwriter for LifeWay and his songs are being used by other churches around the country in an incredible way.
